My New Year Foodie Resolutions

•    I will NOT be partaking in the ridiculous ritual that is the New Year diet.  Apart from the fact that I am a food blogger, which does make it that extra bit difficult , I just think we should be eating healthily, locally and in season (with a few treats thrown in) all year round.
•    I promise to sign up to a local veg box scheme. Cornish Food Market have just started delivering to my postcode so I don’t have any excuses.
•    All my meat will be bought from my local butcher, which means dodging the overly enthusiastic traffic warden. No more pre-packaged stuff for us, however convenient.
•    I want to learn to make proper bread. I use my bread maker a great deal but it’s not quite the same as kneading it yourself – a great anti stress activity I imagine, and one that I am looking forward to doing more often. It will beat squeezing my bright pink pig in the office anyway.
•    If you read my blog, or follow me on Twitter you will know that I enjoy a glass (or 2) of wine. So, I want to carry my ethos of eating more locally into what I drink too.  A few glasses of this wouldn’t go amiss on a cold winters evening….and maybe I can persuade hubby to take me on a tour of the winery, which is only a short drive away from our house.
