The suites are trimmed in lavish furnishings, boasting views of the cityscape out to the Old City and St Nicholas Market that you can enjoy from the freestanding bathtub. Wherever you lay your head, it will be in a super soft, Egyptian cotton clad bed. The food at the Jetty Restaurant is as impeccable as the design. Foodies are spoilt for choice with a range of menus to cater for everyone, including a separate vegetarian and vegan menu. All menus evolve with the seasons and, depending on when you visit, may include breast of duck with squid stuffed with duck leg, or south coast fruits de mer. The decor cries out for a martini glass to be sipped from, and luckily enough there’s an extensive cocktail menu to provide the perfect elegant tipple.
The former basement bank vault have been transformed into an indulgent spa; a paradise for even the most well-travelled spa-goers. Plunge into the indoor pool or pick from massage, speciality bodywork and skin therapies. An afternoon of pampering is sure to be one of the best investments you’ll make all year.
