The Artist Residence, a former Georgian mansion turned boutique bed and breakfast in Penzance, launches its new cafe Arts Kitchen cafe this July.
From July 28 the cafe, which is situated on Penzance’s historic Chapel Street, will be offering breakfasts, brunches, lunches and homemade cakes from chef Nic Lennon.
The team claim their ethos is simple, ‘quality wholesome homemade food focused around fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce, served in a fun and interesting creative environment.’
Dishes include Cornish rarebit and rich chocolate Guinness cake while daily specials reflect seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The Arts Kitchen is located in a bright gallery-dining space with a changing display of contemporary art and artisan pieces for sale.
Upcoming events include a supper club, regular art sessions and summer barbecues in the orchard courtyard.
Open daily from 8am to 4pm. For more details visit the website or call 01736 365 664.
