Peter Gorton, Masterchef of Great Britain and chef-proprietor of Gorton’s Restaurant in Tavistock, and Adrian Oakes, a landscape and contemporary photographer based in Exmouth, are releasing a new book aimed at celebrating Devon’s Food Heroes.
Featuring some of Devon’s best producers – from bakers to beekeepers, ice makers and shellfish farmers, the book also includes a series of Peter’s recipes. South Devon Chilli Farm, Cranfield’s Foods, Pebblebed Wines and Ken Basterfield’s honey all get a mention.
Devon Food Heroes is due for release in May, published by Halsgrove Publishing.
